Reflection:

He was constantly lecturing about black and white. He would say that black was evil. This, I believe shows some kind of discrimination on Rev. Smith’s part. Because Rev. Smith had no tolerance for the Ibo religion, he encouraged his followers to have similar feelings. This encouraged hostility between those people whom followed and those whom resisted Christianity.
